Enterprise skills for pre production planning

Using my initiative

When planning for my YouTube channel and sourcing materials and information such as sound effects and visuals, I used many enterprise skills. To begin  with I used my initiative throughout. I had to use my knowledge to search up to find different sound effects that would suit my video for example I had to find a free sound effects website, I used free sound and then I searched for different

sound effects I was looking for. I also had to source visuals and fonts that work well with my theme.

Working Independently 

Overall I worked independently as I didn't need any help within my work, this is because it was my own work and my own ideas so I had to figure it all out myself. I worked independently to source the materials and also writing up my own script for my channel. I worked on my own to choose the idea i wanted and expanded on this. When working independently I was able to work at my own pace however I had to set out times for each blog posts, it also meant that I had to work out of my comfort zone and think of everything myself. 

Self motivation

When planning ideas and writing out my blog posts I used self motivation to get my work done in a set amount of time. For example when sourcing my materials I gave my self a few hours to do this but I ended up completing it earlier which meant I could start writing my script straight after which gave me more time to do this.

Problem Solving

I had to overcome a problem as when I was sourcing material for my YouTube video I lost all the images and fonts that I had downloaded which meant I had to go back and find them again, I had to work with this by myself to go back on myself and find all the correct images i needed, although this was a small set back i found more images to use. However because I finished sourcing the material earlier than I had planned it didn't take up too much time to do this again. 

Written Communication Skills

I used written communication skills when having to write my script for my new YouTube video as I had to write as if I am talking to an audience. I also had to work independently and use my own initiative when doing this as I had to come up with my own ideas of what to talk about and include my own review on a TV show.

Self evaluating ability to meet demands 
I feel as if I have met the demands of my creative brief very well. In my creative brief I explained what my idea was, who it is aimed around and how I will create it. All my demands have been met and I have followed with it throughout. For example in my creative brief one of my aims were that I was planning on doing a rating scale on the categories in each TV show and i feel as if i have stuck to this very well.

Working with others, delegating, compromising 
Most of this unit requires you to be independent which means that there was no delegating that was needed to be done as i needed my own work and ideas for this unit. No compromising was needed ether as i had used my own ideas and decisions and worked at my own ability and to the standard i wanted. Working with others, again not a lot of this was needed for this unit as most of it required your own work and ideas, at the very beginning with this unit i worked with a couple students in my class to come up with 3 ideas each of what we could do withing this unit. This helped all of us out a lot as we all gave in ideas for each other and helped each other which then gave us the ability to expand and come up with out own ideas.
